Definitions

Awards Management / Organizers Personnel from Network 18 Media & Investment Ltd (‘Network 18’) and Federation of Automobiles Dealers Associations organizers and responsible for the overall conduct of the Awards
JuryA group of person appointed by Awards Management to shortlist the organization and determine winners
Terms and conditions (“T&C” or “Terms”)These terms governing the Awards, as may be amended from time to time

  • These Terms & conditions are applicable to and govern the “Automotive Dealership Excellence Awards (ADEA) ” organized and conducted by Network 18 Media & Investments Ltd and Federation of Automobiles Dealers Associations
  • By participating in the Awards, Participant agrees to abide by and be bound by these Rules These Terms & conditions may be modified without any prior notification. Participant is advised to regularly review these Terms. If there is any disagreement with any of the Terms and any amendments thereto, Participant must not participate in the Awards or withdraw registration from the Awards

  • ADEA proposes the Automotive Dealership Excellence Award (“the Awards”) to recognize and honor the finest automotive dealerships for their best practices in automotive retail

  • The Award categories may be changed / modified / split / merged / increased or cancelled by the Jury based on the number and quality of entries received in each category. Awards management / jury may apply minimum cap for the category to be awarded to maintain high standards of Awards. This is at the discretion of Awards management / Jury and this cannot be contested in any manner.
  • In the event that no Participant in a category are found to be worthy of inclusion by the Jury, the Award category may be cancelled by the Jury. The Jury may decide to add organizations in the category to maintain high standards of participation. The decision of the Jury in this regard will be final and non-contestable. The Awards management will not entertain any queries in this regard.

Eligibility criteria for participation in the Awards

  • All Federations of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) members holding a valid dealership in India in any of the categories are eligible to apply
  • A company holding multiple dealerships of different categories can apply in multiple categories.
  • The final eligibility of the Participant will be subject to the discretion and approval of Jury
  • In case of non-members of FADA, the dealerships can avail the membership of FADA and then apply.
  • Awards Participation in the Awards is subject to defined Terms & conditions available on website http://www.adea.in

Eligibility criteria for participation in the Awards

  • Efforts will be made to adhere to the defined timelines. However, the defined timelines are subject to change based on circumstance
  • Awards Management and its sub-contractors shall not be held accountable / liable for any disruptions / stoppages / interruptions or cancellation of the Awards or its ceremony or any part of its processes or public voting on account of any factors beyond its control

Call for nominations & participation

  • The call for nominations for the Awards will be announced in one or more relevant media and/or through trade bodies and that shall be construed to be adequate notice for call for entries
  • Participant can apply for the Awards through three modes:
    1. Completing the registration on the website.
    2. Sending the scan copy of the completed registration form to akshaya.jadhav@network18publishing.com
    3. Couriering the hard copy of the completed registration forms and the supporting documents at the address mentioned below:

    4. Awards Management and / or Jury have the right to nominate any dealership in any award category to build the quality of entries in that award category They will, however, go through the defined evaluation process
    5. Each registration form can be used only for a single entry. All mandatory fields on the forms should be completed. Incomplete forms may be disqualified
    6. If additional registration forms are required, a photocopy of the same registration can be used or additional forms can be downloaded from the following websites – http://www.adea.in
    7. Awards Management has the right to reclassify registration forms from one category to another, at its discretion

  • Stage 1: Dealer to fill in registration form
  • Stage 2: Shortlisted dealers submit data base of customers. 100 customers for Sales & Services each (50 for current year, 50 for previous year)
  • Stage 3: Shortlisted dealer database verified through telephonic calls. Customer survey is filled for Sales & Service
  • Stage 4: Top 12 finalists invited for Jury round
  • Stage 5: Jury determines winner in each category

Receipt of entries

  • Last date for receiving completed registration forms is 23:00 hrs. on December 10, , 2015
  • Sending a nomination for the Awards in any manner will be construed as an acceptance to the Terms & conditions stated herein
  • All physical entries must reach the address:

  • Receipt of registration forms after last date of receipt specified may be permitted only at the discretion of the Awards Management
  • Awards Management will not be responsible for registration forms that are damaged / lost due to lack or lapse in any communication on account of internet failure
  • Entries which are unreadable or damaged may not be considered
  • Participation in the Awards in any manner will be construed as an acceptance to the Terms and conditions stated herein

Instructions for completing the registration form

  • All sections of the registration form are mandatory. Participant would not be able to submit the form unless all sections are filled
  • Entries will be accepted in English language only
  • The declaration form attached on the last page of the registration form must be signed by the authorized signatory of the organization/dealer (HR. head, Manager, CEO., MD.)
  • For online submissions, the declaration form needs to be downloaded, signed & stamped by the assigning authority of the organization and uploaded in the section provided
  • Participant need to accept the terms and conditions at the end of the registration form to submit their entry

Completeness of entries/ Disqualification

  • All sections of the registration form are mandatory. Participant would not be able to submit the form unless all sections are filled, all the fields of the registration form needs to be complete in all respects; else it may be disqualified from participation
  • If at any time, any information provided by any dealership is found to be incorrect in any manner, then that entry will be disqualified from the Awards by jury’s discretion
  • Determination of whether information provided by the organization is incorrect or not rests with Awards Management and the Jury panel
  • Disqualification of entries is at the sole discretion of the Jury, on a case by case basis
  • Awards Management has the right to ask for documentary proof of information provided/ audit the information provided. If such a request is made and the organization does not comply within 5 working days from the date the request is made, the entry could be disqualified from participation in the Awards
  • Awards management has the right to pursue background searches on the organization and use the results thereof for internal purposes
